Basketball

The sun shining and when morning tea was finished. We all lined up outside the classroom and Miss G came to get us all. We went to the courts and all sat down on the ground in a line altogether.

When we sat down we had to listen to coach Bruce. He told us that we were not allowed to chat and we were not allowed to talk when the teacher is talking. He put us into groups he told to go to the number he gave us . I was in Catherine’s team, number 3. When we were in our lines we all challenged each other and the team who won the first time was my team, then it was the Lakers, they were the best team that always won. The last team that won in the end was my team.

Coach Bruce said to room 3 that we all needed to listen more to what he said and that we all needed to work on this for the next lesson.

Holy faith sister

The holy faith sisters were nuns and they started  our school Saint Pius X Catholic School. Margaret Aylward started the Holy Faith Sisters. She started our school because she wanted the children to be a better learner.

The cross reminds us that Jesus died on the cross for us.
The waves remind us that water is a symbol of healing in our baptism.
The top of the circle reminds us that Jesus will light our way.
The bottom of the circle reminds us of God's creation.

Drama Presentation

Easter Presentation

I did this Presentation because this week Room 3 has been looking at Easter for Religious Education.   This Presentation shows you what Easter is really about and why we have Easter eggs.

Stellaluna

Stellaluna is a Fruit bat and they can fly. Bats eat Fruit like Mango also they eat nectar from flowers.
They hung upside down and they can see through the darkness at night. Bats sleep in the morning and they stay awake at night.

Oktapodi

Oktapodi is a short film that was set in Greece. Room 3 watched Oktapodi and it was cool with the graphics. Oktapodi means octopus! This morning we watched the movie because we are learning how to share your opinion about something. The main characters are an orange octopus and a pink octopus.

Oktapodi was hugging his girlfriend in the sea shop then a man came and took the pink octopus into a box and the man walked with the octopus to the van. The man tried to punch the Oktapodi when he was trying to rescue his girlfriend and then they crashed. The orange octopus and his girlfriend fell on the white bricks and Oktapodi was lying on the road and the pink octopus helped the him up onto the white bricks. They escaped the horrible man.

I liked watching Oktapodi because it was interesting and cool when the orange octopus and his girlfriend jumped up and down in the people’s pools.
