Howick Historical Village

My favourite thing from our trip to Howick Historical village was when we were making the trolleys. I was in rachel’s group and everyone was in their own group. It was a bit cool because me and my group were laughing at each other and all the other groups were just doing their work. We used wood, metal stick, nuts, wheels, pins, list, spanner, screwdriver and a washer.

We were almost finished but Andrew’s group just needed one more thing to do and then they were finished. Then everyone finished but it was only my team that lost and we all stopped laughing and my team was the first team to take all of the tools off from the wood.

After that we left, everyone wanted to take a ride on their trolleys but we couldn’t. Mrs Mills told all of us to take off the nuts, the wheels and all of the stuff from the trolley and the first one to finish taking the their stuff off was my team. Me and my team laughed because we had so much fun.

Tom and the Dragon

One day Tom asked his mum if he could go play outside to the pier, Tom’s mum said “yes you can Tom but watch out because there is a dragon outside at the pier in his cave. He might tell you to go inside the cave but never ever go near the dragon's cave”.Tom said “yes” but Tom did not listen to his mum, and Tom just went to the dragon’s cave.

Tom went to the dragon’s cave and he started to play with the dragon. When they were playing the dragon’s fire came out of his mouth and Tom just stood there and then they made bread and the dragon blew fire again so the bread could get cooked so they could eat it.

After that the dragon let Tom sit on his neck so they could leave. When they got higher and higher the dragon told Tom to open his eyes to look down. When Tom feel down to the water from the dragon, the dragon went down to save him. After that the dragon and Tom became friends forever and ever.

Basketball

The sun shining and when morning tea was finished. We all lined up outside the classroom and Miss G came to get us all. We went to the courts and all sat down on the ground in a line altogether.

When we sat down we had to listen to coach Bruce. He told us that we were not allowed to chat and we were not allowed to talk when the teacher is talking. He put us into groups he told to go to the number he gave us . I was in Catherine’s team, number 3. When we were in our lines we all challenged each other and the team who won the first time was my team, then it was the Lakers, they were the best team that always won. The last team that won in the end was my team.

Coach Bruce said to room 3 that we all needed to listen more to what he said and that we all needed to work on this for the next lesson.
