Karengo

How do you cook Karengo?

• Put the karengo on the bowl and put it in the oven for two hours.

• Get it out and put water and butter on it to make sure it does not dry up.

• We eat fried bread and kumara with the Karengo.

prayer time

In the morning room3 prayed all together. Miss G lit the candles and we all say the sign of the cross “in the name of the father and the son and in the holy spirit”.

Rachel and Monique read a prayer and we all said the sign of the cross again, “in the name of the father and the son and the holy spirit Amen”.

When the prayers were all finished one of leaders blew the candles out. I felt happy and I felt like in class I’m going to have fun.

Reflect on the last 3 weeks

Last week room3 got to go on their netbooks. We used our Google apps and firefox.

The hooded rat

• The hooded rat lives in a cage.
• The hooded rat eats bread and vegetables.
• The hooded rat washes himself and he likes to go up my sleeves.

Netbook Rollout

On Thursday 2 February 2012, room 3 students got to go on their netbooks.

When we got on we all counted from 10 to 1 and when we had finished counting we all turned on our netbooks for the first time.
We got to do our username and our own password and when we finished we got to play games.

Sadly we all had to turn the netbooks off as it was the end of the day, so we all put them away and charged them ready for the next day.

1. My cousins came back from America and I run to them to hug them.

2.I like to clean the house.

3.I like to help mum do the washing so I can learn how to do the washing.

4.I went to the beach and I went for a swim.
